A New Chapter: Health-First Food Solutions for People and Planet

On March 1, 2026, we became Umios. A new name brings clarity to who we are, but it also sharpens the expectations placed on us—that we consistently deliver authentic, safe, and healthy food to people around the world.

But how we meet those expectations at scale continues to evolve. Today, climate change is putting pressure on ocean ecosystems. Natural resources are becoming more constrained. Food security is an increasing global concern. We see these shifts every day in how we source, process, and deliver food. In this environment, we must continue to innovate and adapt, ensuring our operations remain efficient, resilient, and responsive to change.

That is why we will build on the strengths that have always set us apart: deep sourcing, advanced processing technologies, and a distribution reach that few companies in our space can match. These are real advantages we can integrate more effectively into our operations. The goal, as always, is to deliver a reliable, sustainable supply of protein and food products that support human health over the long term.

Sustainability is central to that effort. This company was built on the generosity of the ocean, and the resources it provides are the foundation of our business. Every product we’ve made and every table we’ve helped set around the world traces back to that source. Our job, in return, is to protect it and guarantee that the generations who come after us inherit its bounty, just as we have.

Part of our new name, Umios, carries the spirit of "one." It reflects our unity with every team member, partner, and stakeholder as we work together to create meaningful solutions for people, the planet, and our shared future. Our purpose, For the ocean, for life, sits at the heart of that commitment.
